A BIT ABOUT DOUG...

Doug was born and raised in Richmond, VA.  He was a starting pitcher and third baseman for the 1999 VA State Championship baseball team from Godwin High School.  Doug was also a member of the 1993 Tuckahoe Little League team that played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.  He continued his baseball career at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA where he was a 4-year starting pitcher and team captain his senior year.  Doug left Virginia in 2006 and moved to Gainesville, FL where he owned and operated a franchise business.  After selling the business in 2010, he moved to Hilton Head and began a career in the financial services industry.  He spent 3-years building his clientele and then took an opportunity in a management role with the same company in Atlanta, GA.  After spending 6-years in Atlanta, he decided to move back to Hilton Head where he lives with his wife and two children.  Doug loves to be outdoors, playing golf, being with family and has a deep passion for baseball and coaching youth baseball.
